On the Hangeul Day, ‘Hangeul Design Bus’ Crisscross Seoul Famous designer LEE GEON MAAN, designs Hangeul Bus in celebration of the 567th Hangeul Day [E Daily Journalist Hyeonah Kim] In celebration of the 567th Hangeul Day, buses wrapped with Hangeul designs are going to be out for a test run for a month from the 6th. The project is promoted with the theme ‘Hangeul, blooming into a global design’ and with the creative idea of a famous Hangeul designer, LEE GEON MAAN. Designer LEE GEON MAAN has been converging Hangeul with fashion items to create his unique design code. He also designed and gave out Hangeul T-shirts for the casts of a new TV show of MBC, ‘Welcome,’ that is going to be aired on the 11th of October for the first time. The Hangeul buses are designed by creating some visually interesting elements using colorfully colored consonants of Hangeul so that the public can easily approach. With a cooperation of Seoul city hall, Dongah Woonsoo (Representative Jinwook Lim) has provided 3 buses, which were all designed differently for a run from the 7th. The numbers of the event buses are 102 152 and 151. On the 9th, there will be the Hangeul balloon share event at Gwanghwamun square and the cultural lectures from an actress Kyeongsoon Jeong and other lecturers at the culture hall of Shinsegye department store.
