Sejong the Great is the most respected person in the history by the modern people for creating Hangeul. With a wishful mind to follow the intentions of Sejong the Great, who created Hangeul, we have prepared “Sejong the Great, Opens the New Era of Hangeul Culture,” the first special exhibition.

The exhibition is arranged with 3 themes: Theme 1, Sejong the Great (Finally), Theme 2, Sejong Era (Together) and Theme 3, Sejong Spirit (Enjoy). In Theme 1, the whole life story of Sejong the Great with his major achievements, are introduced, in Theme 2, the background the process of the creation of Hangeul are explained and in Theme 3, the Sejong spirit of harmonizing with the people the Hangeul culture are described.

Also the exhibition attempts to present a convergence of the traditional assets with the modern art works. Looking around the exhibition, you will find Sejong the Great and our Hangeul culture coming towards you a step by step.
